The US CDC has released an update for its ‘vaping illness’ documentation which has been a hot topic of discussion across the country since last 2 months. As per the CDC, thetetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products most likely are a key factor, with unauthorized street-bought THC vape oils being the major culprit.
The agency, in a media release, notes that more than 3 quarters of individuals who reported about lung illnesses after vaping admitted to using street-purchased THC vape oils. Just 16 percent of individuals insisted that they used nicotine-based vaping products. This information, merged with the recent probes revealing dangerous ingredients in unregulated THC products, offers further support to the fact that vaping isn’t the issue.
When the CDC confirmed a death case due to vaping-related disease a few weeks ago, it was clear that something weird was happening. Surprisingly, several people were hospitalized with fatal lung illnesses after vaping out of the blue, suggesting that an unmasked element was at fault. This resulted in bans on entire vaping products getting proposed in the nation. A few cities have followed through and imposed bans already.
With the fact that unlicensed THC products are likely to be the cause of mostvaping-related health issues, will the lawmakers undo the ban on vaping products? Well, one will have to wait and see.
