A global survey has highlighted that European countries are now experiencing medicine shortage while fighting coronavirus pandemic. As the number of COVID-19 cases has been rising in European countries, it has introduced a new problem in the form of a medicine shortage. Until now, there is no specified treatment available for this problem and anti-malaria drugs have been used by different countries in order to treat the symptoms of this deadly disease.
The worst affected European countries due to coronavirus are Spain, Italy, France, and Germany. The speed of deaths in these countries is very high and it has really put a lot of pressure on their healthcare systems. One such example is the scarcity of medicine to treat this disease and hence European countries are importing the appropriate medicine from other countries.
In fact, the US is also demanding the import of Hydrochloroquine from other countries and it has asked India to ensure the supply of this medicine. The European countries are going through a very bad phase and over 50,000 deaths have been reported in Europe. Not just this, the number of deaths in these European countries has been rising at a rapid speed and it is showing unimaginable situations.
If we talk about the total number of coronavirus cases at a global level, the number has crossed the mark of 13 lakhs and over 70,000 deaths have been reported till now. A state of emergency has arisen in Europe due to the rising number of coronavirus cases in various parts of European countries.
