The new year is on the way, and so is the time to go veganuary. All the people are so geared up and are looking forward to trying the plant-based diet for January. To make Veganuary worth remembering, the UK bakery chain is all set to launch vegan bacon rolls. Since it has become a trend for all the suppliers who deal with a plant-based product to launch something new and mouth-watering in January to promote veganuary, they have come up with a super delicious Vegan Bacon roll this year.
Since veganuary is approaching, Coughlan’s bakery, which has twenty-six outlets spread in South London and Surrey, is also ready to launch vegan food products for takeaway. They have also tied up with many food delivery apps such as Uber eats, Just, and Deliveroo to increase the store’s sales and promote vegan food products for January and beyond.
This vegan bacon roll will contain plant-based bacon rashers prepared from Coughland Bakery. The stuffing would be of vegan cheese and slow-roasted tomato wrapped in vegan puff pastry. The cost of one vegan bacon roll would be 3.55 dollars.
What is the driving motive?
The sole purpose of launching a vegan bacon roll is to make people aware that a meatless breakfast could be more healthy and more mouth-watering than the breakfast containing meat. As people are steadily turning towards veganism, people will surely try the newly launched product. Bacon is something that meat-eaters can’t sacrifice. Still, it would be easier for people to shift from bacon containing meat to a vegan bacon roll when they would have such a healthy option. And hence, promoting and encouraging people to try more and more vegan products.
With all the preparations done, veganuary is all set up to have the most successful outing so far. According to the survey dated 21 December, more than 2,60,000 people have signed the vegan’s pact in January. If you want to be a part of the massive success and want to go or try plant-based products, then what are you waiting for? You still have time to go to the official webpage and to sign the pact.
Toni Verneli says
In an interview, Toni Verneli, Veganuary’s global head of communication, stated that the world has seen a lot in 2020. People were locked in their houses for many days. The year 2020 has bought much demise and heartbreak. It has also allowed us to change ourselves and our surroundings by creating a better future for tomorrow by going vegan. And maybe because of this reason, a double number of people have signed the pact of veganuary, compared with the year 2019. People are now getting to know about the benefits of going vegan. That’s why people are slowly and gradually shifting to a plant-based diet to improve themselves and society’s living conditions, and that is definitely a positive change.
