Milo is now Vegan Friendly; Soon to Hit Australian markets

The new vegan-friendly Milo, healthy milk powder by Nestle has now been made available in the Australian markets by the company. The powder will soon be seen in New Zealand’s supermarket shelves.

The product is a plant-based dairy alternative powder. It has gained quite a popularity among the vegetarians and mostly the vegan community. The vegans are really excited about the launch of the product and are taking to social media to post pictures of the product with their happiness expressed in captions.

They have been writing that this news is huge for vegans and they are excited to try the new drink as soon as possible. Some twitter accounts say-  “someone just reversed into my car but then I found the vegan Milo so I guess it all equals out”, “Take all my money,” while many wrote this is the best news they have heard in recent times. A Nestlé spokesperson said that the drink will be available in New Zealand in early May 2020.

Earlier Milo was a normal milk powder but this new product is made of soy protein isolate and has soluble corn fiber. The back of the product recommends that three teaspoons of can be added to hot or cold soy milk for best results. The taste is similar to the original as it has the same core ingredients malt, barley and cocoa but there is less sugar in this compared to the original.
